What we did

The most finished interior in this book. Artex off the ceiling, every wall skimmed, and a media wall built and finished with the recess for the fire and the screen formed in the plaster rather than fixed on afterwards.

The coffer in the ceiling carries the lighting. A coffer is only as good as its edges: the shadow gap has to be straight for the whole length of the room, because a strip light will show you every millimetre you are out.
