What we did
The staining down this elevation was coming off the gutter line, so renewing the roughcast without doing something about the gutters would have put the stain straight back.
New black gutters and a fresh white roughcast. The house beside it still carries the old finish, which is the fairest before and after we have: same terrace, same weather, same age.
