What we did
New porch at the front, new extension at the back, and the decision to bring the whole house into the same finish rather than matching new work to an old coat that was on its way out.
Blockwork, scratch coat, then white dry dash over everything, with new steps formed and finished to match. Doing the lot at once is more work on the day and far less work later, because there is no join to go wrong.
