What we did
Stripped right back, which is what you do when the existing coat has debonded over most of the wall rather than in patches. You can hear it: a hollow note under the hammer means it has let go whatever it looks like.
Once it was back to sound render the whole elevation was re-dashed in white, with anthracite gutters to finish.
